Caspian Week 2020 Night Event

Night event, organised by the Musical Olympus Foundation as a part of Caspian Week 2020 programme, was held at Hilton Garden Inn Hotel (Davos) on January 23. Musical Olympus featured talented musicians — Yi-Ping Yang, percussioniste from France, and Kazakh baritone Azamat Zheltyrguzov.

Yi-Ping Yang is a prominent percussioniste, guest professor of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and a lecturer in Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Lyon. In 2009 she performed at the Musical Olympus Festival and since that has participated in many concerts and presentations organized by the Foundation. Among them — a concert at The Philharmonie Berlin in 2010, performances in Tonhalle Zürich and Carnegie Hall (New York) in 2013. Yi-Ping Yang was a member of the jury of the XVI International Television Contest for Young Musicians 'The Nutcracker (Irina Nikitina is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Contest).

Azamat Zheltyrguzov is Kazakh Opera singer (baritone), the Head of the department “Vocal Art and Conducting” of the Kazakh National University of Arts, Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Azamat is the winner of many international competitions, he gives regular recitals and successful tours in Russia, USA, China, Japan, Turkey, Switzerland, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Belarus, Austria, India, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan.
